When you grow up in a small community, a tight knit community, sometimes when you are the odd one, no one questions you further. It wasn’t until much later in my life that I found out that I did A LOT of things that didn’t fit into society standards. Judgements because I was a “women”. Trying to force myself into those boxes of normal by society standards pushed me into a hard space with my concept of gender. I wasn’t enough in so many ways, but I was too much in so many ways.
